Talent Award – Sustainable Talent of the Future
The Talent Award is a national competition and learning platform for budding florists, students, and career changers who want to showcase their craftsmanship, creativity, and vision. It is an accessible way to get acquainted with competitions and offers the perfect stage for new talent to grow, raise their profile, and connect with the sector.
The competition consists of an online pre-selection, regional preliminary rounds, and a national final. Participants present their work to an independent professional jury and work on surprising assignments and current themes during the preliminary rounds and final.
The Talent Award is not just about winning: it is mainly about learning, becoming visible, and inspiring each other. Through assignments, meetings, and exposure via media, sponsors, and partners, participants get a flying start to their careers.
Since Sideau took over the organization of Bloem&Blad, there has been more focus on sustainability, collaboration, and the long-term development of talent. The Talent Award is growing into a community: a place where starting florists feel supported, regardless of where they come from or their age.
